This unit introduces the phenomenological approach which is at the heart of biodynamic agriculture.

It gives a brief overview of the human experience of nature from the foundations of science to modern analytical chemistry and how the human experience has changed over time. The unit also introduces both practical observation exercises and conceptual approaches to help students understand and inform their own experience. These together provide a context for an observational, experiential and researching approach to biodynamic agriculture.
