Arjen Huese
Arjen Huese gained his qualification as biodynamic grower at the Warmonderhof Biodynamic College in Holland. He has grown vegetables on a commercial scale in Sweden, Germany, Holland, Brazil and for the last five years has been running his own cut flower farm alongside his position as course leader for the Biodynamic Organic Horticulture Training. |
Nir Halfon
Nir Halfon (MSc. AEEES) studied Anthroposophy in Israel and Biodynamics at Emerson College. Nir has an MSc in Energy and Environmental studies. He has taught gardening and sustainable development in schools and workshops on permaculture, gardening and biodynamics more broadly. His main interest is in the issues of sustainable farming and food production |
Juergen Schumacher
After training in farming and farm management Jurgen was involved in converting farms to biodynamic and then his own biodynamic farm for 15 years. He also trained in and studied advising and accounting and subsequently worked as a department head in tax advising and investment company. In 2000 Jurgen began working at Emerson College to co-develop the DB training Level 4 and in 2001 he became course carrier for this. From September 2010 Jurgen has re-joined the BD training as a teacher and course carrier. |
Deborah Watts
Originally from California, Deborah has worked in many educational settings including the Summerfield Waldorf School in Santa Rosa as Receptionist and Publisher at the same time running her own cottage based business. She moved to Forest Row in 2005 and began working at Emerson College as the Steiner Teacher Training Course Administrator. Deborah has a drgree in Business Management and completed her studies toward a Masters in Early Childhood Center Management. |
